Intervention based on photos for promotion of work ability and health when having stress related illness

Short description

This project is a feasibility study aiming to explore health promoting conversation using photos. Patients with a stress-related illness aged 20-67, at risk of sick leave, and who consult primary care, will be recruited to health promoting dialogues using photos as support during 12 weeks. With their mobiles, patients will take photos of what they experience as health promoting in everyday life. Outcomes are compared with a control group who receive treatment as usual in primary care. Data collection by self-report questionnaires and interviews regarding their everyday life and experiences of treatment. The counsellors delivering the treatment will be interviewed about their experiences. Data will be analyzed using quantitative and qualitative methods. The project is a cooperation between patients, health care providers and researches.
