Education during the autumn 2020 semester

The University of Gothenburg is working to slow the spread of COVID-19 infections. Although the government has withdrawn the recommendation on remote studies, the return to campus this autumn will be limited. This is because other recommendations, in order to help reduce the spread of the covid-19 infection, still apply.

Both on-campus and online education

Students who are beginning or continuing their studies at the master's level (courses, programs, Erasmus courses) during the autumn 2020 semester will be offered either on-campus or online education. This means that you can choose whether you want to attend physical on-campus meetings or participate digitally online. This choice is being offered to both national and international master's students.

Regardless of whether you choose to attend classes on campus or ones offered online, we will do our utmost to make sure that your introduction to university studies and your student experience is the best possible, even during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
