The main entrance in Vasaparken in use again

Published

The metal fences in front of the University’s building in Vasaparken are now removed and the main entrance is in use again.

It was during Friday's severe storm that a gust took away parts of a large scaffolding on the roof. Parts of the stone edge around the building fell to the ground, and the main entrance has been sealed off due to the risk of objects falling from the roof.

Wednesday the balustrade was secured and the danger of falling objects is over. This means the house is open as usual and visitors and employees are welcome via the main entrance.

The clean-up in front of the entrance without stairs on the back of the house continues Thursday. The elevator inside the building is operational again. However, it is not permitted to stay on the third floor because of the damage caused by the storm.
