See the film about Ubuntu - the GPCC exhibition about person-centred care

Between March and September 2012 a unique, much talked-about and appreciated exhibition about person-centred care was on display in a disused hospital ward corridor at Sahlgrenska University Hospital/Östra in Gothenburg. 650 members of hospital staff saw the guided tours during this period in groups of 10-20. The interactive exhibition was a collaboration between the University of Gothenburg Centre for Person-centred Care (GPCC), The Röhsska Museum of Design and Applied Art and the Sahlgrenska University Hospital. It is now hoped that the exhibition will be developed into a national travelling exhibition.

According to Project Manager Jeanette Tenggren Durkan reactions from the visitors have been overwhelmingly positive. They have enjoyed taking part in a thought provoking cultural experience during working hours and at their place of work; a normal environment which has been transformed into something else in an “Alice-through-the-looking-glass-experience”.
