Kristina Holmqvist Gattario recieves award for best thesis

Kristina Holmqvist Gattario at the Department of Psychology, University of Gothenburg, recieves the 2014 Seymour Fisher Outstanding Body Image Dissertation Award for her thesis Body Image in Adolescence: Through the Lenses of Culture, Gender, and Positive Psychology.

Body Image: An International Journal of Research is annually recognizing an outstanding doctoral dissertation on the topic of body image. The award is deservedly named for the late Dr. Seymour Fisher, whose scholarly contributions to the field were both seminal and prolific.
