International Workshop: Media, alcohol and violence in young people: research and policy perspectives

Within the project Alcopop-TV Culture, the Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science, arranges a workshop on the theme Media, Alcohol and Violence in Young People: Research and Policy Perspectives.

The workshop takes place on October 29 at Hotel Gothia Towers. Presenters are invited international specialists both on media-, behavior and alcohol-research, and the moral and legal status of young people. These include David Archard (Lancaster University), Emma Cave (University of Leeds), Boudewijn De Bruin (University of Groningen), Renske Koordeman (Radboud University Nijmegen), Auden McClure (Dartmouth Medical School) och Susanne Tanski (Dartmouth Medical Center).

The workshop is a closed event, but interested parties can follow what is being said via Twitter, using the hashtag #alcomedia
