Come and meet GPCC during 2016 International Forum on Quality and Safety in Health Care and learn about how we research, educate about and implement person-centred care.

The International Forum on Quality and Safety in Health Care comes to our home town of Gothenburg for the first time this year and we at The University of Gothenburg Centre for Person-centred Care are proud to announce some of the many ways in how you can meet us during the Conference.

Experience Day

Kicking off on Tuesday 12th April, you can visit us during the conference experience day “Integrated Person-Centred Care Through Practice And Research” (M12). One of the learning objectives of this visit will be to “witness a unique evidence-based, person-centred care working method”. The visit will take place at the GPCC main base at Sahlgrenska Academy/The University of Gothenburg, closely linked with the Sahlgrenska University Hospital, one of Europe’s largest.

More info on the experience day and session can be found here.

Conference programme: lecture and posters

On Wednesday 13th April GPCC Centre Director Inger Ekman and Education and Implementation Manager Catarina Wallengren host a 90-minute lecture from 11.00 to 12.30 called “Achieving The Highest Patient Satisfaction Through Efficient Care” (A8). Learning objectives for this session are: to “understand the methods, evidence and assumptions behind person-centred care, and understand how to implement and evaluate it”.

Exhibition Hall Stand

During the entire conference delegates will be able to meet GPCC researchers in GPCCs exhibition stand. Come and talk with us about person-centred care and find out more about our research findings and how we apply them to implementation, innovation and educational courses & workshops in healthcare settings.
