Catarina Coquand - Alumnus of the Year 2015 at the IT Faculty
Catarina Coquand, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Society at Malmö University, is the Alumnus of the Year at the IT Faculty.
The motivation for the award:
"Catarina Coquand is awarded the Alumnus of the Year 2015 for her work on leadership and educational development in the IT sector in Gothenburg. As the leader of a five-year project she developed the civil engineering programme in information technology, the IT programme, at Chalmers University of Technology. In this role, and later as a committed head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Catarina Coquand has contributed to place the disciplines of software engineering and interaction design on the academic map of Gothenburg."
Catarina Coquand is receiving the award during the IT Faculty Spring Ceremony on June 10, 2015, where she will also give a talk.
