In connection with Kulturhuset Kåken's Plant Change Day, we invite you to a public discussion where researchers from the University of Gothenburg share their research on sustainable food production in small-scale farming. What role do urban and local farming initiatives play? And how can research support farmers in the transition to more sustainable systems?
With soil, seeds and farming practices as a starting point, we discuss biodiversity, the life of the earth and how small-scale farming systems can contribute to more sustainable ways of producing food.
The discussion connects science and everyday life and provides new perspectives on how the food of the future can start in small ways – in gardens, allotments and communal farms.
