Welcome to an exam exhibition by the bachelor and master students in Craft.
On 21 May, the graduation exhibition of students from the bachelor programmes in Ceramic Art, Textile Art, Jewellery Art and the International Master's Programme in Craft with specialisations in Ceramic Art, Textile Art and Jewellery Art at HDK-Valand will open at Kronhuset in Gothenburg.
Reflections from a future is the title of the 2021 graduation exhibition, which pays tribute to the students who worked under the exceptional conditions brought about by the pandemic. The students bring with them the experience of developing and implementing projects and ideas under highly constrained and rapidly changing conditions.
Identity, loss, the importance of play, social structures and issues of emancipation are some of the themes considered. Students have explored and deepened their knowledge of materials and techniques within their chosen specialisation based on conceptual enquiries that reflect our present and future.
The exhibition will take place between 21-29 May at Kronhuset in Gothenburg, with a virtual opening on 21 May at 14.00.
The exhibition will also be documented in a catalogue which will be available after the exhibition.
Due to Covid 19 we will limit the number of visitors within the exhibition space. Pre-registration is not required.
A warm welcome to visit the exhibition in the Kronhuset!
