Focus for Ida Hedén's PhD-project is different aspects of food intake in fish, and at the halftime seminar she will summarize her findings so far. Opponent at the seminar is Aleksandar Vidakovic from SLU, and examiner is Malin Celander, Department of biological & environmental sciences.
Studies that Ida will present:
- Dietary replacement of fishmeal with novel marine proteins recovered from shrimp and herring process waters - promising alternative sources in Atlantic salmon aquaculture
- Diurnal variation in plasma nutrient concentration and intestinal enzyme activity in Atlantic wolffish fed in dusk or dawn
- Physiological mechanisms regulating L-lysine transport across the intestinal tissue in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss)
