About the lecture
The climate issue is one of the greatest challenges of our time – but why is it so difficult to handle, despite all the knowledge and technology available?
Åsa Löfgren, seniore lecture, Department economics at the Gothenburg School of Economics, has more than twenty years of experience in research within environmental and climate economics. In her lecture, she sorts out the economic, political and human factors that make the climate transition so complex.
She also points to ways forward – from new technology and smarter policy instruments to collaboration and behavioral changes that can actually make a difference.
A lecture that provides both in-depth understanding and hope that change is possible.
