The conference will bring together researchers, practitioners and people with visual impairment and blindness in order to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and collaboration across different perspectives on orientation and mobility (O&M).
Sweden has a long tradition of striving for equality. This includes focusing on how people with impairment can have the best opportunities to participate in our society. In keeping with this, the theme of the conference is Challenges for an inclusive society. The program will cover a wide range of topics related to achieving an inclusive society with regard to orientation and mobility, based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
There will be a virtual exhibition space in the digital platform that functions as the virtual conference facility. Here you will have the opportunity to:
