Congratulations to Michelle Nygren - new PhD in natural sciences with a focus on geology! On Friday 29 April 2022 she defended her thesis "Impact of climate variability on dynamic groundwater storage in mid- to high latitude countries".
The doctoral defence took place in the Auditorium, Geovetarcentrum at the University of Gothenburg. The opponent was Professor Lena Merete Tallaksen, Institutt for geofag, University of Oslo, Norway.
The examination board consisted of Professor Anders Wörman, Resources, Energy and Infrastructure, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm; Assistant Professor Claudia Teutschbein, Department of Earth Sciences, Uppsala University and Senior Lecturer Charlotte Sparrenbom, Department of Geology, Lund University.
