Study Conservation in Gothenburg

The master’s programmes at the Department of Conservation at the University of Gothenburg offer opportunities to specialise in the field of conservation.

At the Master’s Programme in Conservation you deepen your knowledge about the layers of meaning of cultural heritage and explore the issues of maintenance and reuse, contemporary developments, and different aspects of participatory heritage planning. All in relation to the challenges of climate change, social movements, and socially equal futures.

The Master’s Programme in Conservation allows you to specialise in the conservation of cultural objects and to develop in-depth skills in conservation techniques and instruments.
