 PhD position to work on the conservation of Baltic Sea Eelgrass

The Department of Marine Sciences, University of Gothenburg, is looking for a PhD student to work on the research project “Genetic population structure of Baltic Sea eelgrass - urgent information for conservation of a foundation species under climate change”. The PhD project will focus on population genomic assessments of a seagrass in the Baltic Sea to provide a baseline for future temporal conservation genetic monitoring of eelgrass in Sweden. The position is placed at the Tjärnö Marine Laboratory. Project leader: Marlene Jahnke.

The Department of Marine Sciences, University of Gothenburg, is looking for a PhD student for research on sperm evolution in fish and marine invertebrates.  The PhD thesis project can be developed according to the candidate’s interests. The Department of Marine Sciences, University of Gothenburg, is looking for a PhD student to work with genetic mechanisms responsible for the formation of Littorina snail ecotypes.
