Research interests In my dissertation work I am exploring the empirical field of New Media and Learning in teacher education. The aim of this research is to enhance our understanding of how Net-based learning environments and portfolio methods combining text, audio, images, and video can promote organizational and content-related integration, along with shared mentoring between university and school with the aim of bolstering future teachers’ development of professional teaching knowledge. My research subject is applied information technology specializing in education sciences. My supervisor is Berner Lindström, and my deputy supervisor is Hans Rystedt. I am a doctoral student at the IT University at Göteborg.
Teaching interests I prefer to teach about applications of IT support in various educational activities. This can involve combining audio, text, and images or teaching via the Internet without being dependent on time and space. Various activities and different content have different needs, possibilities, and obstacles when it comes to integrating IT. I find it exciting to problematize them and seek interesting avenues for development.
