About Samuel Perini
I am keen to begin a career in evolutionary ecology with main focus on the influence of ecological barriers on reproductive isolation between both geographic and ecotype populatios. I have completed my BSc in Biology at the University of Padua and the MSc in Evolutionary Biology at Uppsala University. I have successfully combined my studies with other commitments such as journalism, music and sport climbing. Self-motivation and determination have become key values to achieve these goals. I have developed compelling verbal and written communication skills during my academic career (e.g., journal clubs and project works) and volunteering experiences (e.g., workshops and teaching). My background consists of evolutionary biology and ecology, plant biology, biochemistry and ethnobotany.
