Operations & Outreach Manager at the Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) Institute.
Natalia has responsibility on data collection in Post-Soviet countries, Africa, North America and Middle East. Her tasks include: design, planning and implementation of project activities and website development; communication with experts, data collection and analysis; report and newsletter writing; liaison with regional offices; organization and coordination of workshops, seminars and conferences around the world.
Natalia joined V-Dem Institute in 2012 after receiving M.S. degree in International Administration and Global Governance (University of Gothenburg, 2011). During her studies she interned at UNCTAD, Switzerland. While being a student she took part in 5th and 6th NATO-Afghan Students Forum, Summer Academy Challenges of Sustainable Development and international seminars in Azerbaijan, Finland, Germany and Netherlands. Natalia holds Bachelor degree in International relations from Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnic University (2009).
Areas of interest
Her interests include democracy, global and local governance, peace studies and sustainable development.
Current research
Involved in: Varieties of Democracy, which aims to produce better indicators of democracy; Program on Governance and Local Development (GLD).
