Karin's research is about using digital air pollution monitors in Citizen Science. The overarching aim of her thesis is to explore what effects the use of novel digital technologies have on creating opportunities for learning and engagement in the science of society.
Karin has been a Ph.D. student in Applied Information Technology with a specialization in Educational Science at the Department of Applied IT since September 2016. Karin is admitted to the graduate school in Educational Sciences at the Center for Education Science and Teacher Research (CUL).
