About Charlotta Hanner Nordstrand

Teaching Areas

- Cultural history focusing on the history of architecture and the built environment; art- and cultural history. - Documentation, finding information, and how to approach a research paper. Reasearch Areas

- My primary area of research includes studies of symbol-laden objects, forms, and architecture in early Christian architecture and how these spread to our Nordic cultural communities via various pathways. - I am also studying 19th-century art education, museum education, and art production. Of special interest is the material marble stucco as a symbol-bearing architectural element.
