About Changgui Lin
Research Interests: Climate change and climate modeling with eyes on the Tibetan Plateau (TP).
Currently, my research at University of Gothenburg focuses on the water cycle changes over the TP. Can models performs well for the TP region? Which factors attribute to the deficiency of model simulations, esp. for the precipitation? The observation issues? Supported by projects from both Sweden and China, I am working on the issues mentioned above and try to present a 4D product of precipitable water using the WRF assimilation model, which may help to better understand the water cycle over the TP.
