Support the University of Gothenburg

The University of Gothenburg is one of the country’s largest educational institutions with over 47,000 students and offering a rich range of research. Since the establishment of the then Gothenburg University College in 1891, support from the private sector and foundations has been vital. One example is the donation from Oscar Ekman, which made it possible to build the main building in Vasaparken.

By supporting the University, you make it possible for us to expand knowledge for the great benefit of many today and in the future.

Join us and contribute to the university's research and education!

A donation can mean so much. It can be the difference between the success and failure of a research project or can mean a student from outside of Europe has the opportunity to study at the University of Gothenburg.

Research can be decisive in finding new solutions and helping us better understand our world. Conducting research is often like solving a puzzle with thousands of pieces, and a small missing piece can prevent the discovery and, ultimately, the utilization of important findings. Your donation can play an important role in finding that piece.

Your support would be greatly appreciated and can be designed to be linked to your personal interests. Your contribution, no matter the size, can have a major impact for us.”
