Current Position at GU

I'm Co-Head of the Bioinformatics and Data Centre at the Sahlgrenska Academy, where we provide:

  • High throughput techniques for biomedical, clinical and pre-clinical research.
  • Wide range of statistical and bioinformatics support and training.
  • Cluster hardware and software infrastructure development

Education and Previous Experience

  • During my research education (postdoc at Claes Gustafsson's group, PhD at Tore Samuelsson's group) I've been involved in the development of bioinformatics algorithms and analytical platforms.
  • I am a co-founder of the Gothenburg Bioinformatics Network (GOTBIN) which intends to bring together all Gothenburg researchers for whom bioinformatics is a part of their research.
  • I have also been involved in bioinformatics education, either by lecturing and organizing courses or by supervising students.
