Abstract

In this interview between Professor Ola Sigurdson, curator Nav Haq and Professor Andrea Phillips, Haq discusses his reasoning for choosing "secularity" as the theme for the biennal while Sigurdson expands on the history and politics of the term. The interview situates secularity within an artistic, curatorial and contemporary context, taking into account the biennal's location in Gothenburg.
