Vidén Gunhild – Faculty of Arts, Dept of Languages and Literatures GUNHILD VIDÉN – born in Uddevalla in 1952 – graduated from the University of Gothenburg in 1973. She defended her thesis, /The Roman Chancery Tradition. Studies in the Language of Codex Theodosianus and Cassiodorus’ Variae,/ at University of Gothenburgin 1984. She received her specialist post graduate teaching certificate at the Teachers' Training College in Stockholm in 1986 and became senior lecturer in Latin at the University of Gothenburg in 1993. She was employed from 1996–2006 as professor of classical philology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim and during the period 1999–2005 was Sub-Dean at the Faculty of Arts. She is a member of the Royal Norwegian Society of Science and Letters.

Von Hausswolff Annika - Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts, School of Photography
Born: 1967
Annika von Hausswolff was trained at Konstfack, the University College of Arts Crafts and Design and the Royal College of Fine Arts in Stockholm. She has represented Sweden at two biennials, in Sao Paulo in 1996 and in Venice in 1999. After a long international career in the visual arts, she had a retrospective exhibition in 2008 at Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall. She lived for many years in Stockholm and Berlin, but is based today in Gothenburg. Since 1 July 2008 she has held the post of adjunct professor of photography at the School of Photography in the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts at the University of Gothenburg.

Välimaa Pasi
Born: 1968
Pasi Välimaa was born in Nystad, Finland and after studying at Stockholm University and Konstfack, the University College of Arts Crafts and Design, has been active as a textile artist and designer since 1997. He has been a guest teacher at several higher education institutions in Sweden, among them Konstfack, Beckmans College of Design, the School of the Association of Friends of Textile Art, the Capellagården School of Craft and Design and Umeå University. He has exhibited both in Sweden and abroad. In 2004 he was awarded Scandinavia’s most important textile prize, The Nordic Award in Textiles. Since 1 January 2009 he has held tenure as professor of textiles, specialising in garment and textile design, at the School of Craft and Design at Steneby in the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts at the University of Gothenburg.
