Title of dissertation: On implant integration in membrane-induced and grafted bone
Lars Rasmusson was born in Tanumshede in 1962 and became an officer in the Navy reserves in 1985. In 1990 a degree of Master of Science in Dental Surgery was conferred on him at the University of Gothenburg and in 1998 he got his doctorate and became a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2000. He became a Docent in Biomaterial Science in 2002 and in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2003. On 1 April 2007 he was appointed Professor of Maxillofacial Surgery at the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg.

Ridell Malin - The Sahlgrenska Academy, Avd för mikrobiologi och immunologi MALIN RIDELL, born in Gothenburg in 1942, completed her primary degree at Lund University in 1968. She received her Ph.D. at the University of Gothenburg in 1977 with a thesis on Serological Relationship of Nocardia, Mycobacterium, Corynebacterium and the Rhodochrous Taxon with Special Reference to Taxonomy. He became an associate professor of Bacteriology in 1979 and a university lecturer in 1986 at the then Department of Medical Microbiology at Göteborg University. Appointed to be Professor of Medical Microbiology at the University of Gothenburg from 1 February 2005.

Rosén Monica - The Faculty of Education - MONICA ROSÉN Born: 1962 Thesis: Gender differences in patterns of knowledge Monica Rosén was born in Stockholm. In 1988 she obtained a bachelor's degree in personnel management, specialising in educational planning and personal development, at the University of Gothenburg. Since then she has worked on large-scale national and international assessments of schools in a range of research projects at the Department of Education. She obtained her PhD in 1998 and became a docent in 2007. Since 7 December 2009 she has been Professor of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education at the University of Gothenburg.

Bertil Rydenhag was born in Trollhättan in 1954. A degree of Master of Science in Medicine was conferred on him at the University of Gothenburg and also a Specialist Degree in Neurosurgery in 1994 at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. He got his doctorate in 1985, became a Docent in Neurosurgery in 1996 and Chief Physician in Neurosurgery in 1998. On 1 October 2007 he was appointed Adjunct Professor of Neurosurgery at the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg.

Rönnerman Karin - The Faculty of Education - - KARIN RÖNNERMAN Born: 1952 Thesis: Female teachers develop their practice. A study of eight development projects at primary school Karin Rönnerman was born in Stockholm and qualified as a pre-school teacher in Gothenburg. She has worked in a number of different posts in pre-schools alongside her studies and obtained a bachelor's degree at Umeå University, where she also obtained her PhD in Education (Pedagogik)in 1993. She became a docent in Education at University of Gothenburg in 2002. During the period 2009–2012 she is an Adjunct Professor at the Charles Sturt University, Australia. Since 19 January 2009 she has been Professor of Education at the Adult Learning Unit at the Department of Education.

Gunilla Röör - born in 1959 - studied acting at The National Academy of Dramatic Art in Stockholm during 1983 - 86. In 1986 she was employed at the Klara Theatre, Stockholm City Theatre and she had her film debute in 1988 with the film Livsfarlig. She has been awarded 'Guldbaggen' for best actress in the films Freud Flyttar Hemifrån and Sommaren and she has been nominated for best supporting role in Beck - sista vittnet. Apart from the production of short films and TV productions, she has devoted herself to pedagogy at, amongst other places, the National Academy of Mime and Acting in Stockholm and the Stockholm Elementary Theatre School. On 1 July 2007 she was appointed Adjunct Professor of Scenic Interpretation Specialising in Film Acting at the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts at the University of Gothenburg.
