PERSONAL SAVINGS

If you want to take both yourself and the future of society into account when saving, the option exists to save in Göteborg University’s Research Fund. The fund is a unique collaboration between Göteborg University and Handelsbanken, which administers the fund.

Every year two percent of your holdings in the fund accrue to the University and its Jubilee Fund where the money is used to initiate, support and carry out research that it has not been possible to finance in other ways. Skilled fund managers ensure that your savings grow, probably by over two percent per annum, so at the same time as you are contributing to supporting research, you are saving with a good chance of a high rate of growth. As there are a large number of savers in the fund the total contribution to research is significant.

FUNDS

There are several different research funds at Göteborg University with different functions and specialisations. If you are interested in making a contribution to the University by donating money to one of these or if you are interested in setting up a special research fund in your own name, you are very welcome to contact us.
