The Year of Languages

To further strengthen the Language Policy and ensure that the Action Plan is carried out properly the Internationalisation Council was tasked with declaring 2011 the University of Gothenburg Year of Languages.

The aim of the Year of Languages at the University of Gothenburg 2011 (programme), is to highlight all the language-related activities that exist within the University, both programmes with a linguistic focus in various faculties, and skill development and guidance, as well as how important language is in all research.
