About Elias Markstedt

Doctoral candidate in Political Science at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Affiliated with the Gothenburg Research Program on Pregnancy and Politics and the SOM Institute. The SOM Institute is a university-based research organization and a national infrastructure for survey data that administers the Swedish Citizen Panel.

My work centers on gender and politics, political behavior, and survey methodology, focusing on the gender-specific impact of significant life events on political attentiveness, knowledge, and attitudes.

As a survey manager between 2011 and 2018, I worked for the SOM Institute and the Laboratory of Opinion Research (LORE).
