University-wide bodies

The task of University-wide bodies is to support the University Management and the organisation in different matters. These bodies are described below:

The University Management Council

gives the Vice-Chancellor support in decision-making processes and is a forum where future matters and University-wide strategies are discussed.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Research Advisory Council

acts as an advisory body to the Vice-Chancellor in general and strategic issues related to research.

The University Board of Education

whose assigned task is to develop University-wide principles for education, acts as a drafting and advisory board to the Vice-Chancellor.

The Committee for Doctoral (Third-Cycle) Education

serves as a permanent committee to the University Board of Education, drawing up University-wide principles for doctoral (third-cycle) education and contributing to cross-Faculty quality assurance and exchange of best practice in matters related to doctoral (third-cycle) education.

The Quality Council

is a University-wide supportive body that ensures the promotion of quality development within the University’s different branches of activity, that is, within education, research, cooperation and support services.
