The University's Pro-Vice-Chancellor is the Vice-Chancellor's deputy.
The Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gothenburg,
Helena Lindholm, was appointed 1 July 2012. She is a Professor of Peace and Development Research and has previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Social Science.
Pro Vice-Chancellor Helena Lindholms particular areas of responsibility are internationalisation, gender equality and equal opportunities. Furthermore she is in charge of the university-wide implementation of Vision 2020 and of issues on broadened recruitment.
Helena Lindholm is the chair person of the University´s Work Environment Committee and of the working group for allocation of funds from the Adlerbertska research foundation. She is a member of the board of the Swedish National Data Service (SND), the Steering Committee of the Gothenburg Centre for Environment and Sustainability, the Royal and Hvitfeldt Scholarship Foundation and member of the think tank Knowledge Environment within the Trade and Industry Group at Go:teborg & Co.
