Lecture open to the general public
Lecture by Theodor Ringborg, curator at Bonniers Konsthall, Stockholm. Ringborg will speak on his practice as a curator and some exhibitions that have influenced him.
The event is part of the Valand summer course Curating and Cultural Production Strategies: Galleri Experimentell.
Lecturer: Theodor Ringborg is a curator and writer currently preparing his forthcoming exhibition More Than Sound at Bonniers Konsthall, Stockholm. Previously he has curated exhibitions such as Spatial Works, Färgfabriken (2009), Fall Out; War and Conflict in the British Council's Collection, Whitechapel Gallery (2010), Color Pattern Yellow Danger, Milliken Gallery (2011) as well as co-curated the 6th Nordic Biennial in Moss, Norway (2011). He has been editor of publications such as the two volume Imagine Being Here Now; Reader and Reminder published by Mousse Publishing and is a frequent contributor to Artforum¿s Critic¿s Picks. He is also the co-founding director of Antrepo Ltd, an organization dedicated to supporting artists and curators in exhibition making and the production of works of art.
