The Swedish NMR Centre organizes a three-day workshop on cell-free protein synthesis with specific emphasis on NMR sample production.

The Swedish NMR Centre will host a workshop on cell-free protein synthesis (CFPS) with focus on generating NMR samples. The idea is to illustrate the cost and time efficiency of protein NMR sample production by combining expression with CFPS and rapid data acquisition/backbone assignment with the in-house developed targeted acquisition approach. Participants are asked to provide suitable plasmids with target proteins of interest which will be 13C,15N-labeled in scale-up reactions. Depending on the outcome, a positive control and one or two samples will be chosen for overnight backbone assignment on dedicated high-field spectrometers.
