The University of Gothenburg made an impressive climb in the latest world university rankings in the Times Higher Education and is today one of the 200 top universities in the world.
The University of Gothenburg rose from 258th to 185th place in this year’s rankings and is one of five Swedish universities in the Times Higher Education Supplement’s list of the top 200.
Lund University ranks highest in Sweden in 67th place, followed by Uppsala University in 75th, the Royal Institute of Technology in 174th, the University of Gothenburg in 185th and Chalmers University of Technology in 198th.
US and UK institutions still dominate the top 10 - Harvard retains top position followed by Cambridge, UK and Yale, US.
